Ingenium Research Group at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) has been selected to represent Spain in the international phase of the Entrepreneurship 5 + 5 initiative, after overcoming several days ago, the national stage.

This program—made by Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Malta (European side) and Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Mauritania and Tunisia (Maghreb)—seeks to encourage the implementation of technology-based companies that have their origin in the field of public universities participating in this initiative.

Represented by Fausto Pedro García Márquez and Carlos Quiterio Gómez Muñoz, project Ingenium arose due to the need to offer the renewable energy industry a solution for the increase in its productivity and reliability based on new monitoring systems and non-destructive analysis. The quality and viability of the business plan, the international strategy, the potential for innovation, the competitive advantages, the degree of development and the experience of the team have thus been some of factors that have been taken into consideration.

Ingenium Research Group is a multidisciplinary investigation group that is formed by nine members of UCLM, alongside other external members from Spain, United Kingdom, and Italy. The group has an extensive amount of experience in national and international projects. Our mission is, in addition to the pursuit of excellent research, to contribute to the improvement of social welfare by carrying out projects tailored to organisations in specific areas, such as engineering, business administration, and economics.
