The Spanish programme in Toledo from the UCLM has renewed its seal for “Commitment to Quality Tourism" from SICTED

The chancellor of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Julián Garde, has today collected the "Commitment to Quality Tourism" seal from the Comprehensive System for Quality Spanish Tourism Destinations (SICTED) that the Spanish programme in Toledo (ESTO) has renewed since 2018. This occurred in the ceremony held by Toledo council to recognise the efforts made by companies and institutions alike to make the regional capital the "Best Spanish city for tourism in 2022".

The Spanish programme in Toledo (ESTO) from the General Foundation of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) last year renewed the seal for ‘Commitment to Quality Tourism" from the Comprehensive System for Quality Spanish Tourism Destinations (SICTED) promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism, which endorses the quality of the programme as a supplier of language tourism in Toledo.

Julián Garde, the UCLM chancellor collected the SITEC award during the ceremony held by Toledo council and in which the remaining companies and institutions meriting this seal participated.

In this ceremony, Toledo council wished to recognise the effort made by the companies which have the "Commitment to Quality Tourism" seal from the regional capital to help it become a high quality tourism destination. In this respect, it must be stressed that last year the International  Federation of  Tourism Journalists and writers (FIJET) recognised Toledo as the ‘Best Spanish city destination in 2022’, an award which the city received at last year´s  International Tourism Fair (FITUR).

The Spanish programme in Toledo was attached to SICTED in 2018.
