The rector of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Miguel Angel Collado; and the president of the Council for Transparency and Good Governance, Esther Arizmendi, signed on October 3rd, a framework agreement for collaboration between both parties to cooperate in terms of training, research, and student internships.
The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) and the Council for Transparency and Good Governance will collaborate in the areas of training, research, and student internships under the framework agreement of collaboration that the rector of the Regional University, Miguel Angel Collado; and the president of the independent public body, Esther Arizmendi, signed in Madrid on October 3rd.
The agreement establishes the appropriate framework to accelerate the future collaboration between the UCLM and the Council for Transparency and Good Governance and gathers the initial actions planned. Among these actions, it can be found training courses for the UCLM teaching staff, the research or management staff in the areas of transparency, public information, and good governance; courses and training activities for students; summer and postgraduate courses of scientific and informative nature, and the participation in roundtables, seminars and conferences; Bachelor degree or master's degree dissertations, and student internships at the Council for Transparency and Good Governance. Added to these actions are the joint collaboration in the publication of informative materials and the provision of mutual support and advice, in relation to the Transparency Portal and on models for the evaluation of transparency and the active publicity.
The aforementioned signed agreement will be developed through the establishment of specific agreements on the different activities or projects that may be carried out in each case, and in each of them will be specified the technical, legal, and economic aspects related to the actions conducted. The specific agreements will be open to participation of third parties when the two main parties consider it convenient.
The agreement, which will take effect the day after its signature, will have a validity of four years, and a mixed commission will be in charge of its monitoring.
