Dr. Tapiador is looking for a research associate starting inmediatly. We offer a contract till December 31, 2016 (15 months). The new scientist will join a dynamic group (check main page of the ess research group) involved in several projects, including NASA's GPM mission. 

Qualifications:

• BSc in Physics.

• MSc in Meteorology, Climatology, Remote Sensing, Quantitative Geography or related scientific discipline.

• Proficient in written English. 

• Expert in Fortran under UNIX/LINUX.

• Willing to enrol in the UCLM PhD program [desirable, but not mandatory].

The contract is renewable subject to funding availability and performance.
