he main research lines carried out in the COMCat group are the following:

  • Catalytic synthesis of amidine derivatives through atom-economical reactions: addition of E-H bonds to carbodiimides.

 

 

  • Stoichiometric and catalytic CO2 fixation and transformation in value-added chemicals.

 

 

 

 

  • Preparation of coordination compounds with electropositive metals bearing novel amidine-type ligands.

 

 

  • Fluorescence studies on guanidine derivatives
