The UCLM International Business School is set in motion with 300 enrolments

The chancellor of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) Miguel Ángel Collado, has, this morning, presented the International Business School (UCLM-IBS) at this academic institution. This is a project aimed at reinforcing lifelong learning mainly for executives with experience in the business world, either on the initiative of the university itself or by demand from institutions.

The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), by means of the Postgraduate Studies Centre, has set in motion the International Business School (UCLM-IBS) a project whose main aim is to reinforce lifelong learning, targeting professionals with experience in the business world: executives, seniour and young professionals.

In this respect, the chancellor, Miguel Ángel Collado, stressed during the presentation ceremony that at the UCLM "we firmly believe that the main asset of companies is their human capital, which must be valued, provided with incentives and motivated with the end purpose of obtaining optimum performance, together with a previous quality and up-to-date education which enables the greatest productivity to be reached, involves workers and commits them to the company and excellent management. As a result and with this purpose there must be a strong commitment to lifelong learning, as this is a key element in acheiving these goals".

Collado also stressed the strong points the university has in , lifelong learning" where we are pioneers in economics and finance ", and from this strength the school was born that since July now has 300 students enrolled in it.

The UCLM- IBS is committed to a specialization mainly aimed at graduates who wish to update their knowledge and to international students. Therefore, its training programme is in keeping with relevant topics on digital transformation, leadership and skills, globalization and international management, strategy, innovation, mentoring and financial law, stated Susana Villalurga, director of the Postgraduate Studies of the academic institution, who was also present at the ceremony.

At the same time, the UCLM-IBS aims to encourage meetings with graduates from the regional university through the Alumnus Programme which intends to reinforce the relationship with them and will accommodate, within the wider framework of dissemination and exposition activities by the graduates to the student groups in the university community, meetings in which topics related to their careers are shared and debated, in a way that is helpful and oriented towards future graduates.

At the presentation ceremony, the Vice-chancellor for Internationalization and Lifelong Learning, Fátima Guadamillas was also present.
