Applied Electronics, Data Processing, IoT and Advanced Communications (EPIC) is a young and dynamic research group from the Electronics Technology area of the University of Castilla-La Mancha belonging to the Albacete Reseach Institute of Informatics (I3A), Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation and Communications (DIEEAC), and the School of Industrial Engineering of Albacete (ETSIIAB). It is currently made up of 14 members (5 with a PhD degree): 10 researchers, 3 collaborators and 1 laboratory technician.
The EPIC team has over 20 years of experience in Electronics, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering. Their research focuses on the convergence of IoT and Artificial Intelligence applied to Industry 4.0, education, Smart Cities, or supply chain management.
