Five UCLM students are participating in the Erasmus BIP EUROcket program, and four of them come from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Information Technologies in Talavera.
The project consists of an online phase that takes place between February and March, with an in-person phase in Metz (France) that began on March 23, 2026, and extends until Friday, March 27. This initiative is a combined effort of the Université de Lorraine (Metz, France), which is in charge of coordinating the project, the University of Luxembourg, and the University of Castilla-La Mancha, where our center, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Information Technologies, coordinates the work. The aim of the project is the design, implementation, and construction of a system for launching a rocket, collecting flight data, and presenting the information. The work is carried out in teams made up of members from all participating entities.
This first edition of the project is called "Fly Me to the Moon".
