EPIC collaborator Dr. Roncero was interviewed on regional television alongside Valeria Aragón to discuss AI in learning and the challenges of responsible technology use

On February 10, 2026, Dr. Carlos Roncero, computer science lecturer, PhD from the University of Castilla-La Mancha and EPIC collaborator, participated in the morning program "Castilla-La Mancha Despierta" to discuss the evolving role of AI in education.

Throughout the interview, held together with Valeria Aragón, Deputy Director of the Artificial Intelligence Association, the conversation explored how AI is transforming teaching and learning, the emergence of new digital skills, and the pedagogical and ethical challenges that schools face in this technological shift.

The discussion also addressed the recent Council of Ministers proposal to restrict social media use among minors under 16, a measure that could significantly influence digital literacy, online safety, and responsible technology use in educational contexts.
