This course is aimed at professionals, researchers, academics and students interested in the development, application and innovation of digital twins in different sectors. It is especially recommended for those with interest in industry 4.0, smart mobility, advanced simulation, artificial intelligence and IoT integration with digital twins.
Objectives
The summer course "Digital Twins: from simulation to smart reality" seeks to provide a comprehensive view on the state of the art, applications and challenges of digital twins in various industrial and technological sectors. Through expert presentations, key topics such as artificial intelligence applied to digital twins, high performance computing (HPC), validation and verification of digital models, interoperability with IoT, and their impact on industry and innovation will be explored. In addition, practical demonstrators with different applications in industrial environments, mobility and virtual reality will be presented.
