• 1993 Graduated with honors in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Valencia
•  1993-1996 PhD Research Studentship in Chemical Engineering at University of Valencia. This research involved the development of supervisory control systems for the biological stage of domestic wastewater treatment processes.
• 1997 PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Valencia
• 1997-2000 Post doctoral at University of Castilla La Mancha. Some trainings in EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland (Prof. Comninellis)
• 2000- 2009 Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at University of Castilla La Mancha
• 2009 - Full Professor of Chemical Engineering at University of Castilla La Mancha
