Professor of University (1985) in the Area of the Business Administration, assigned to the Department of Business Administration, in the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM-Spain).

PhD in Economics and Business by the University of Castilla-La Mancha (1991), Degree in Economics and Business with Extraordinary Prize of Degree, by the University of Murcia (1984), Spain.

Professor in the Degree in Management and in the Programme of Ph.D. in Business Creation, SMEs and Family Business. Professor in Masters, Courses, Seminars and Workshops in the UCLM and other Spanish, European and Latin America Universities and Business Schools, with incidence in Business Creation, SMEs, Family Business and Competitiveness and Innovation.

Principal researcher of a national project (2007-2009) and three regional projects (2002-2004, 2007-2009, 2011-2012), researcher in a national project (2000-2002), director/co-director of seven doctoral theses (1998, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006-2-, 2008), person in charge for two bilateral Programs of Integrated Actions for scientific and technical research between Spain and Portugal and between Spain and Italy. Coordinator of the Network EYALDE – creation of businesses – of the Programme ALFA (PB2), of cooperation for the scientific and technological formation of the European Commission. Stay of research in Business Creation at the University of Québec (1995, Canada) and Lancaster University (2010, UK).

Director of the group of Research SITE -Strategy, Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship and Family Business- of the UCLM.

Author/co-authored three manuals, various studies and reports, chapters of books, articles, other publications, lectures and communications in national and international congresses and scientific encounters and academic journals.

Spanish Vicepresident of the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (1998-2008) and member of different associations national and international scientific.  

Professor of the Programme of Cooperation Inter/E. AL. and/AL.E. with Universities of Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Cuba, El Salvador, Mexico and Venezuela. Professor responsible for the Erasmus programme student exchange of Economics and Business with the University of Siena (Italy) and with the Universities of Warsaw and Jagiellónski (Poland).

Collaborating professor of the sponsored Chair of Family Business in the University of Castilla-La Mancha.

Professor responsible for the virtual subjects "Old Lessons for New Strategies (Art of War)" and "From Businessman to Family Business", at Group G9 of Universities.
