My research group is named UNGULATA. Founded in 2004, it deals with the study of Behavioural Ecology and Conservation Biology of Ungulates. We are at the Instituto de Investigación en Recursos Cinegéticos (IREC), a research centre that depends on three public institutions, CSIC, UCLM, and JCCM.

This web site provides information on my research lines as well as my publications and ongoing projects.

Research interests:

Basically, I am interested in the study of conservation ecology in ungulates. It follows some detailed research lines:
- Sex ratio and parental investment
- Social ranks and kin recognition
- Large herbivores management and conservation
- Exotic introduced ungulates and their effects on the host ecosystems
- Captive breeding of threatened species
- Inbreeding deleterious effects
- Aoudad (Ammotragus lervia) conservation biology
