Student Exchange Through Bilateral Agreements

University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) has signed Bilateral Agreements with universities from all around the world, many of which propose academic exchange of students.

International students interested in taking part in any of these agreements should contact the international relations unit of his/her home university, where he/she will ensure that the bilateral agreement includes academic exchange and will obtain information about the requirements and procedures. The home university will contact the host university applying for the exchange. Once the conditions of the exchange have been approved, the home university will send its partner the following documents to apply for admission:

  • UCLM Application Form
  • Photocopy of the student's passport
  • Academic Certificate
  • Description of the Study Program
  • Motivation letter of the student

Application Deadlines:

  • Winter semester or full academic year: June 15th 2011
  • Spring semester: November 30th 2011

The host School/Faculty will assess the candidate and give written notice to the Cabinet of International Relations about the admission or refusal of the application. A letter of acceptance will include information about the student and will state the duration of the exchange period and academic content.

Once the student has been accepted, he/she must contact the International Relations Office of the campus where he/she will study. This Office will provide him/her with all the information related to the exchange and will be the referent of the student during the stay at UCLM.
