The dates for academic activities established in the academic calendar constitute a period of minimum teaching, but schools may begin their academic activities before or finish them after the indicated dates.

Beginning of the academic year: From September 10th (Schools can delay the beginning of academic year till September 17th for the first-year students).

First semester:

  • Academic period: From September 10th to December 21st.

Second semester:

  • Academic period: From January 29th to May 17th.

Exams:

  • Final degree resit exams (third opportunity): From November 14th to November 30th.
  • First semester final exams (1st semester courses): From January 8th to January 25th.
  • Second semester final exams (2nd semester and whole year courses): From May 20th to June 7th.
  • First and Second semester final exams (second opportunity): From June 14th to July 5th.

Deadline for changes in final marks:

  • Final degree resit exams (third opportunity): December 7th.  
  • First semester final exams: February 5th
  • Second semester final exams (semester and whole year courses): June 12th
  • First and Second semester final exams (second opportunity): July 10th

Holidays:

  • From December 24th to January 7th: Christmas
  • rom March 25th to April 1st: Easter
  • January 28th: St. Tomás de Aquino
  • School festivities will be set according to the decision of every school, on the previous or next Monday or Friday after the official festivity day. These festivity dates will be published on this website later on.

National Holidays:

  • October 12th: Columbus day
  • November 1st: All Saints day
  • December 6th: Day of Spanish Constitution
  • December 8th: Inmaculada Concepción day.
  • The rest of public holidays will be set according to the Regional Government and these festivity dates will be published on this website later on.
