Our Spanish language
program
Español en Toledo offers the
following kind of courses:
Open courses. These are short
courses, mainly in the summer (with a minimum group of 12 students
of the same level, it would be possible to hold one of this courses
at any time of the year except for August).
Spanish for Professional Purposes Diploma,
2-year course.
Training courses for teachers of
Spanish as a foreign language.
"Cervantes" course.
Spanish language course for
Erasmus students.
Possibility of studying 24 credits
of some degrees the UCLM during a semester (four-month period)
by means of the
AUNA Program.
Tailor-made programs for
universities and institutions, with flexible length. Any interested
professor may contact ESTO, we are flexible to organize a course
adapted to your needs. You can specify:
Number of hours, days, weeks; length
of the program.
Number of levels, number of students
per level.
Program's contents: intensive course,
course in language and culture, study abroad program with the
possibility of transferring credits, specific Spanish programs (engineering,
nursing).
Additional services you wish (medical
insurance, airport pick-up, welcome and farewell parties, virtual
Spanish classroom, use of gymnasium, and so on).
Extra activities (visits to the
monuments of Toledo, one-day trips to Madrid, Segovia, Cuenca,
Consuegra, Aranjuez and El Escorial, Spanish cinema sessions,
Spanish / Latin dance, etc.
Kind of
accommodation: in families from
Toledo, or in university residence (double room).
Here is a summary of our programs in
the last years:
With Ohio University, 10-week
study abroad programs in winter and spring quarters, and a 5-week
summer program.
With the University of Nebraska at
Lincoln, an exchange program in teacher's education, we offered
reinforcement Spanish lessons for the students involved..
With Texas A&M University (TAMU),
a program for engineers (they learn
Spanish one week in Toledo, and then they follow their studies in
Ciudad Real, where the Engineering School is located, for four week).
With the University of Texas at San
Antonio, a 3-week study abroad program.
With Sam Houston
University of Texas, a five-week study abroad program.
With Northern Illinois
University,
a 5-week specific course for professors of Spanish, in February.
With Shanghai
International Studies University, a one-year specific program
for learning Spanish and preparing these students for Spanish
university.
Many of these universities also
sent us students as groups to our July course, as well as
universities from Armenia, South Korea, United States (e.g.,
Toledo-Ohio University) and Brazil (Universidade Estadual do Ceará)
