All our courses are designed to involve the student in a combination of theory with practice, using attractive and dynamic communicative activities which favour active participation. Classes will last 90 minutes.

A variety of original materials are used in class, including ICT resources, developed from the latest methodologies for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and adapted for the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages and the European Languages Portfolio.

Teaching is centred on a task-based communicative approach in order to integrate the different skills needed to fulfil a particular communicative function. This approach also takes into account the development of the more formal aspects of language and grammar, using exercises to reinforce these.

In addition to the classes, the ESPACU Programme of the University of Castilla-La Mancha organises a broad range of extracurricular activities such as cultural trips, visits to museums, the showing of Spanish films, sports events, conferences etc.
