Levels

Groups are organised according to their knowledge of the language and on the first day students will sit an oral and written placement test.

Absolute beginners will immediately be placed in the beginners group.

The groups are arranged into the 6 levels established by the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages (Council of Europe).

  • A1 Beginners level: no knowledge of Spanish.
  • A2 Upper elementary: user with elementary knowledge.
  • B1 Lower intermediate: user with limited expression and understanding.
  • B2 Intermediate: user capable of independent communication.
  • C1 Upper intermediate: competent user.
  • C2 Advanced: proficient user.
