Teaching is comprised of two main blocks: Spanish Language and Global Communicative skills, together with a series of theoretical and practical workshops. Each session will begin with the learning or reinforcement of a range of grammatical content, language structures and vocabulary according to the level concerned. In Global Communicative skills the student will put the new language acquired into practice in a communicative context, and develop both the expressive and receptive oral and written skills.
The course also includes sessions relating to Spanish Civilization and Culture. By using texts, audiovisual material and other activities, students are helped to understand the Spanish-speaking societies, especially those of Spain itself. The use of motivating activities and documents, which look at aspects of everyday life as well as historical and artistic features, aims to bring the learner to a multicultural understanding and discovery of Spanish society and culture.
We also offer access to formal regulated education from the range of degree courses offered by the UCLM in the campus of Cuenca. See AUNA, Open Lecture Hall Programme.
