Teaching focus

The Escuela de traductores de Toledo (School of Translators of Toledo), part of the University of Castilla-La Mancha is a teaching and research centre specializing in the training of translators of Arabic and Hebrew into Spanish.

Its teaching focuses on Intensive Translation Seminars which are held each September and Specialized Translation Workshops, organized at weekends. Together, these make up the Specialist Course in Arabic-Spanish Translation.

There are also beginner’s Hebrew Language Course and Arabic Language Courses held in the afternoons and Arabic Calligraphy Workshops.
