Arriving in Albacete

1. In Barajas Airport, Madrid, take:

  • The Metro:
    • To the Bus Station:
      From station "Aeropuerto" (Línea 8) until station "Nuevos Ministerios" (Líneas 8, 6). There take Línea 6 to the station "Méndez Álvaro" where you will enter "Estación Sur" bus station.
    • To the Train Station:
      From station "Aeropuerto" (Línea 8) until station "Nuevos Ministerios" (Líneas 8, 6). There take Línea 6 (Circular - Grey line) in the direction towards the station "Pacífico". At "Pacífico" get off and take Línea 1 to station "Atocha – RENFE", where you will enter the train station Atocha.
  • Airport Bus to Plaza Colón. Look for bus at airport. From the Plaza Colón:
    • To the Bus Station: Once you arrive at the Plaza Colón take the Metro at the station "Colón" (Línea 4) to the station "Avenida de América" (Líneas 4 y 6). There take Línea 6 to the station "Méndez Álvaro", where you will get off and enter "Estación Sur" bus station.
    • To the Train Station:
      Once you arrive at the Plaza Colón take the Metro at the station "Colón" (Línea 4) to the station "Avenida de América" (Líneas 4 y 6). There take Línea 6 (Circular - Grey line) in the direction of the station "Pacífico". At "Pacífico" get off and take Línea 1 to station "Atocha – RENFE", where you will get off and enter the train station Atocha.

2. Buses: To Albacete from the "Estación Sur", en Calle Méndez Álvaro 83, (13.78€, SUPRA class 21.84€). For up-to-date information on timetables and prices, use the web pages or contact information listed below.

3. Once you are in Albacete: To get to the International Relations Office (from 9:00 to 14:30) from the train or bus station (they are very close to each other), take the city bus L4 or L2 at the bus stop in front of the bus station. Both of these buses will pass the main entrance of the University, so just ask the driver to let you know when to get off.

4. Ask for the university building "Pabellón de Gobierno". Once you are in this building ask for the ORI, which is on the ground floor .

Arriving in Ciudad Real

From Barajas Airport to Atocha RENFE (Railway station)

You can take a taxi and go straight to Atocha Renfe (Railway station). Price 25 € approx.

You can take the subway (metro), which has a station at the airport, and go to Atocha Renfe, you need to make some transfers, which we report as follows:

  1. Pink Line (Number 8) from Barajas to Nuevos Ministerios.
  2. Grey Line (Number 6) from Nuevos Ministerios to Pacífico.
  3. Light Blue Line (Number 1) from Pacífico to Atocha Renfe.

Trip takes 45-60 minutes. Price 1 € approx.

Once in Atocha Renfe, look for "Puerta de Atocha" (Departure Gate of trains, destiny :Ciudad Real). Ticket price of “Avant” train to Ciudad Real is 19 € approx. Trip takes 55 minutes.

From Barajas Airport to the bus station (Estación Sur de Autobuses)

You have to get the "Estación Sur de Autobuses" (South Bus Station).

You can take a taxi and go straight to the "Estación Sur de Autobuses" (South Bus Station). Price 30 € approx.

You can take the subway (metro), which has a station at the airport, and go to Méndez Álvaro stop, you need to make one transfer, which we report as follows:

  1. Pink Line (Number 8) from Barajas to Nuevos Ministerios.
  2. Grey Line (Number 6) from Nuevos Ministerios to Mendez Álvaro.

Trip takes 45-60 minutes. Price 1 € approx.

When you arrive at Méndez Álvaro, look for the access to "Estación Sur de Autobuses". Once you are in the main hall, look for the information point of Aisa Company. Buses to Ciudad Real run every 60 minutes from Monday to Saturdays until 22.00 and until 24.00 on Sundays. Trip takes 3 hours. Price 11 €.

From railway/bus station in Ciudad Real to the O.R.I (International Relations Office)

  • Once in Ciudad Real (either at the Bus or the Railway Station).
  • You can take a taxi, just at the exit of both stations. Ask for "Campus Universitario, edificio Biblioteca". Trip takes 5-10 minutes. Price 5 € approx.
  • You can get a bus to the Campus Universitario: Line 4 (3 stops from the railway station, 9 stops from the bus station). Trip takes 5-10 minutes. Price 0,75 € approx.

Arriving in Cuenca

1. In Barajas Airport, Madrid, take:

  • The Metro:

  • Airport Bus to Plaza Colón. Look for bus at airport. From the Plaza Colón:
    • To the Bus Station:

2. Buses: To Cuenca from the "Estación AUTO-RES", in Plaza Conde de Casal, (9.13€ 2.15 hours travel time; 11.76€, express service, 2 hours). 3. Once you are in Cuenca: To get to the International Relations Office (from 9:00 to 14:30) from either the train or bus station (they are close to each other), take the city buses 6 and 7 at the bus stop in front of the bus station. This bus will pass the main entrance to the University to the Residence Halls, so just ask the driver to let you know when to get off.

4. Ask for the "Bellas Artes" and "Vicerrectorado" building. Once you are in this building ask for the ORI, which is on the ground floor.

Arriving in Toledo

From Barajas Airport to Atocha RENFE (Railway station)

You can take a taxi and go straight to Atocha Renfe (Railway station). Price 25 € approx.

You can take the subway (metro), which has a station at the airport, and go to Atocha Renfe, you need to make some transfers, which we report as follows:

  1. Pink Line (Number 8) from Barajas to Nuevos Ministerios.
  2. Grey Line (Number 6) from Nuevos Ministerios to Pacífico.
  3. Light Blue Line (Number 1) from Pacífico to Atocha Renfe.

Trip takes 45-60 minutes. Price 1 € approx.

From Barajas Airport to “Intercambiador Plaza Elíptica”:

You can take a taxi and go straight to the “Intercambiador Plaza Elíptica”. Price 30 € aprox.

You can take the subway (metro), which has a station at the airport, and go to Plaza Elíptica stop, you need to make one transfer, which we report as follows:

  1. Pink Line (Number 8) from Barajas Airport to Nuevos Ministerios.
  2. Grey Line (Number 6) from Nuevos Ministerios to Plaza Elíptica.

When you arrive at “Intercambiador Plaza Elíptica” look for the information point of ALSA - Galiano Continental Company. Buses to Toledo run every 60 minutes from Monday to Saturdays. Trip takes 60 minutes. Price 4,70 €.

From railway/bus station in Toledo to the O.R.I (International Relations Office)

Once in Toledo (either at the Bus or the Railway Station).

  • You can take a taxi , just at the exit of both stations. Ask for “Facultad de San Pedro Mártir”. Trip takes 5-10 minutes. Price 5 € aprox.
  • You can get a bus to the city centre(Zocodover square is the last stop on all bus lines )Lines 5 and 6.1 – 6.2 (inside the station and at the exit of the station respectively) will take you to Zocodover.

Trip takes 5 minutes. Price 1 € approx.

It takes 10 minutes on foot to reach the International Relations Office (09:00 to 14.30) from Zocodover square to San Pedro Mártir Faculty.
