This service provides the chance to complement academic activity by doing physical activities in your free time. Among other goals, it aims to: promote, encourage and organize sports activities and training between all members of the university community, contributing to the individual’s well-rounded education through the values favoured by physical activity.
Generally speaking, this university’s sports activities program is divided into two great blocks: on the one hand, competitions (the Rector Trophy); and on the other hand, recreation, training and fitness. Soccer, basketball, tennis, badminton, squash, archery, judo, track and field, fitness, skiing, golf, fencing, aerobics and fishing are only a few of the countless activities you can do at our University. There is also the opportunity to get the UCLM Sports Card, with interesting advantages for students.
If you wish to participate in any of these activities or do sport on a regular basis, you will need to get the university Sports Card. This will give you a number of benefits such as:
Unlimited and free use of the university sports facilities.
Free registration for individual sports in the Chancellor´s Trophy and for those group sports in which the whole team has a card. Substantial discounts on prices for all recreational activities offered. The possibility of using municipal facilities at fixed prices.
Discounts on sports supplies at a number of local establishments
Sport service Technicians
The city councils of the cities in which UCLM has campuses also organize sports events at their facilities. The following links will provide you with further information about local council sports on offer.

The scoring system will be the following: 2 points if they win the match, 1 point if they lose.
The triple competition will take place among all the teams in the same group, obtaining the corresponding points according to their placing on the global classification. The gymkhana will proceed in the same way.
Participation in the hike will be assessed depending on the number of team members that take part in it with the appropriate score, according to the total number of teams registered on campus (teams with the minimum number of points required which don´t take part , will be scored negatively).
Points will be awarded to those teams who also have exchange programme students of the UCLM as part of their team members (Erasmus and bilateral exchange programmes).
In the intercampus phase, the hike will be eliminated and the competition system will be modified with multi sport (volleyball 4x4, basketball 3x3 and badminton), the triple competition and the gymkhana remaining.
