Course applications of students with complete or partial studies in foreign universities that haven’t had their degree titles standardized in Spain, will be settled by the Chancellor, according to the following rules:
1. Those course applications of foreign university students in which a minimum of 30 credits has been validated will be decided on by the Chancellor of the University, who will act according to the criteria established by the Governing Council, who, in any event, will take into account their university record.
The validated subjects will have the equivalent points which correspond to the qualification obtained in the student’s home university. The final grade obtained in their home university for adapted subjects will be calculated and recognition of credits in which there is no final grade, will not be taken into consideration for the purposes of the final percentage.
2. Students, who do not obtain a partial validation, can gain access to Spanish universities according to the criteria previously established for students from other educational systems.
3. Course applications of students with completed studies in a foreign university that have obtained the standardization of their degree in Spain will be decided on, following the same conditions as those established for those that fulfil the requirement contemplated in article 3.b) (BOE, Monday 24 November 2008)
The average grade of the academic record of the interested party are obtained according to the validations between the final grades of said foreign systems and that of the Spanish educational system, established by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
