1. Greetings from the Rector

On my behalf and that of the professors, students and administration staff of our university, I would like to welcome you. The UCLM is a young university, as young as the majority of those of you who are reading this page and it is probably as full of great projects as any of you.

Throughout our 25 years as a higher education institute we have carried out our obligation as a regional university within the society of Castilla-La Mancha. In our four campuses, created on the basis of a sustainable development, you will find a wide educational offer with a total of up to 49 graduate degrees and more than 60 postgraduate, Masters and PhD programmes, thanks to which, every academic year hundreds of graduates leave our lecture rooms with a high level and quality education.

We are proud to have a university community which consists of more than 29,000 students, 2,200 professors and 1,150 people dedicated to administration and services. We are even prouder of our extraordinary internationalisation effort which we have carried out over the last few years, currently exceeding more than the 1,100 students which are sent or arrive at the UCLM, with the renewed hope of improving their academic education.
