Competences

According to Decision (Resolution) 26/12/2011 of the University of Castilla - La Mancha, concerning delegation of competences of the University’s Vice-Chancellor (Rector) in diverse matters and bodies, the following duties are attributed to the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Scientific Affairs:

  1. The authority to approve the research projects and grants, and the signature of agreements related to research.
  2. The exercise of all powers and attributions possessed by the University’s Vice-Chancellor (Rector) in relation to grants and funding for research, as well as those connected to the beneficiaries of such grants and funding.
  3. The authority in PhD degree programmes
  4. In general, any of the duties within the area of research and Scientific Affairs attributed to the University’s Vice-Chancellor (Rector) by the laws in force, the University Statutes and any other applicable legislation.
