The duties of the Vice-Chancellor of Research’s Office bear as an essential objective the promotion and support of research activities, both within the university and its closest social environment. Also, the Office undertakes the task of disseminating and transferring the research results to the enterprises and social environment, thus turning research into a powerful engine for the regional economic development. In order to accomplish all these tasks, the Vice-Chancellor of Research’s Office is provided with the support of the necessary technical and administrative structures, based on a team of staff directed and coordinated by the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. D. José Julian Garde López-Brea.
