Toledo Campus and Talavera de la Reina map

The Toledo campus, as this city is home to the region’s capital, is in charge of holding Institutional Relations with public and political bodies. UCLM has firmed up its presence in Toledo at two different campuses: that of Social Sciences and Humanities in the city’s historical quarter; and the Science-Technology campus in the “other historical city” of the old Weapons Factory, with over 5,500 students overall in 2009. There are several buildings in the city’s historic quarter, standing out among which are the San Pedro Mártir Convent and the Madre de Dios building, which presently houses the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences. Also offered at the campus are: the post-graduate law courses for Latin American lawyers, the offer of complementary training in high sports performance; and post-graduate courses in physical therapy. The Technology campus is located in the Old Weapons Factory of Toledo and has renovated buildings equipped with non-polluting alternative energies.

Besides the mentioned activities, at the campus we may also highlight the Spanish for foreigners courses, through the ESTO (Spanish in Toledo) programme, run by the University’s General Foundation.

70 kilometres away from Toledo lies Talavera de la Reina, the “City of Ceramics”. The university campus there stands at a picturesque spot on the banks of the Tagus River. Studies may be carried out there to obtain diplomas in Business Science, Social Education, Speech Therapy, Social Work and Occupational Therapy.
