3. The University Publications Service

This University Publications Service, located in Cuenca, depends on the Vice-Chancellery of University Extension from 1988. It was created with a double target. On the one hand, offering a university service to the academic community and, on the other hand, to spread the scientific production of its professors.

As of early 2009, over 700 titles have been published in twenty collections, including some thirty doctoral theses in digital format. The number of works published annually continues to increase year after year.

The service, within the social reality beyond the university, has also collaborated as co-publisher together with other publishers and institutions in the publications of works related to the world of Castilla-La Mancha’s culture and history.
