Cuadro de texto: Almagro is a small town placed in the county of Campo de Calatrava, well known for its Open Air Theatre (National Monument) and its International Classical Theatre Festival. As well as other interesting buildings, its National Theatre Museum, the Fúcares Warehouse and Parador de Turismo are worth a visit. This town is one of the great jewels of Spain and its heritage is surprising. The city first progressed under the control of the Order of Calatrava and was favoured by History in the 16th century with the arrival of German and Flemish bankers. It is very closed to the chief town of the province (Ciudad Real). Campo de Calatrava also offers castles, palaces and places of great historical-artistic importance like El Viso del Marqués, Almuradiel or Calzada de Calatrava. Meanwhile, in the county of Campo de Montiel, it can be discovered the medieval remains of Montiel, the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park and places like Villanueva de los Infantes and Villamanrique. This province's rich natural landscape is made clear in two national parks: Cabañeros and Las Tablas de Daimiel. Mediterranean woodland accompanies by meadows and wetland on the La Mancha plain form the main features of these protected areas The school will take place in the Palace of the Counts of Valdeparaiso, a beautiful building prepared for the celebration of congresses and courses.

Almagro (Ciudad Real)

The Palace of the Counts of Valdeparaiso belongs to the Excma. County council of Ciudad Real from 1992. It has been recently rehabilitated for cultural and educational uses. The palace has an ancient part and modern other one that are carefully harmonized, thus the palace offers the possibility of favoring environments adapted to the needs of the clients: from classrooms prepared for the celebration of congresses or courses to hospitable stays located in the noble zone. From its inauguration (24 of September of 1994), the number of courses and congresses that have been realized in the Palace has been increased gradually.
