Abstracts will be published on the III International
Symposium on Transboundary Waters Management Abstract Book.
Extended Abstract
After abstract acceptance is received an extended
abstract must be submitted. The extended Abstract must provide a deeper
description of the work, experience, analysis, etc. The manuscript
may be illustrated with figures and tables fitted at the document
body.
The first page of the extended abstract must provide
its title along with the name and full affiliation of each author.
It must also include the abstract that accurately summarizes the content
of the article. After the abstract, the article body must follow,
with introduction, article body developed in sections, and conclusions.
A reference list has to be included after conclusions. Tables and
figures should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numbers with
both numbers and titles placed directly above or below the exhibit.
The manuscript may be completed with appendixes, which must follow
the References section of the paper. The paper must be written in
English.
The extended abstract must not exceed 12 single-spaced
pages including tables, figures, references, and appendices. Type
the manuscript using type no smaller than 10 points, single-column
of 215 x 280 mm (8.5 x 11-in.) paper with at least 25.4 mm (1-in.)
margins. Provide an electronic copy of the manuscript submitting electronically
as an email attachment in a single file to the Symposium Secretary
twm@uclm.es. Pdf or Microsoft Word
6.0 or higher is preferred as a document format; Rich Text Format
or WordPerfect files are also acceptable file format.
Extended abstracts will be published on the III International
Symposium on Transboundary Waters Management Extended Abstract CD.
Oral Presentation
Oral presentation rooms are equipped with a LCD projector,
a Windows-based PC, an overhead projector, and a screen. Only the
main room will be equipped with simultaneous English-Spanish translation.
There will take place the Plenary Sessions and the Round Table Sessions,
which will concentrate all symposium activity during their developments.
In the middle time, simultaneous sessions will be arranged to take
place at the main room and additionally disposed rooms.
Presentation must be taken in English. Only presentation
at the main room will be provided with simultaneous English-Spanish
translation. There presentation will be taken in English or Spanish.
Poster Guidelines
Size should not exceed 1.2-m high x 1.8-m wide (4'
x 6'). Posters will be attached to the wall by double-stick tape (provided).
Poster presenters must bring their printed posters
to the conference and set them up. Every poster will have assigned
a time and space for showing its poster. A master poster location
map will be available in each conference packet and in the poster
room. Please use this to establish the location of your poster space.
Double-stick tape will be available at the registration desk. There
is no table or horizontal surface associated with these poster boards.
No special session has been set aside as yet for poster presentations,
but session breaks may be used for this purpose.
