Methods of Payment

Online Registration form must always be submitted, selecting one of the following methods of payment:

  • Online credit card payment accepted with VISA or MASTERCARD
  • Check*
  • Money order (Money transfer)*

(*) Note: In order to apply for the early registration rates and having selected check or money order option, the check or a copy of the money order with the corresponding amount of money must be received at the Symposium Secretary by April 15th 2006.

Student Rate

PhD students who have submitted an abstract to the III TWM Symposium are eligible for the Student Registration Rate. In order to validate the registrations for the Student category, students must fax to the Symposium Secretary [ Fax # (+34) 926295391 ] a copy of the PhD student's ID, and a letter from the student's advisor. The letter must state the relevance of the Symposium for the student research, and include the title of the submitted abstract. Additionally, the letter has to include the advisor's full contact information (email preferred) so that confirmation can be sent.

Lower Income Country Rate

Those who have submitted an Abstract to the III TWM Symposium and have permanent residence in a World Bank ‘Low Income’ or ‘Lower Middle Income’ country are eligible for Lower Income Country Registration Rate. They must fax a copy of their passport to the Symposium Secretary [ Fax # (+34) 926295391 ] in order to complete their registration.

Additionally, they must provide confirmation of meeting attendance by 15 April (for early registration rate) or by 15 May (for general rates) to the Symposium Secretary. The following information must be mailed or faxed by the deadline date:

  • Proof of availability of funding to attend the meeting. Documentation must be provided from the person submitting or sponsoring each abstract. Supporting letters indicating that you have secured the funds or travel documentation (airline ticket, hotel reservation) are required. Authorization letters from a department head or an appropriate University official are also acceptable.
  • Visa application status. Provide documentation showing when the application was submitted and if it has been approved. If the application has not been approved by 15 April, you need to notify us the approval as soon as you have it, but not later than 22 May.

  • First author's full name and affiliation
  • Abstract title

Refund policy

You may request a refund until May 5st, 2006 at 11:59 PM MST. A 50 € fee will be charged to handle your request. After this date, NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE.
