The Organizing Committee as well as the Scientific Committee of the IX Iberamerican Conference and 1st Latin America-Europe Meeting on Nursing Education cordially invites all participants to submit abstracts for presentation and discussion at the Congress that will be held at University Castilla-La Mancha Campus in Toledo, 2 to 5 October 2007.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Scientific Committee will grant a price to the best Oral Communication and poster, those interested on it must send the full text before: July, 6 2007.

Instructions for Submission and Presentation of Abstracts
- Abstracts are submitted for consideration for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts must be submitted in Spanish or English.
- The abstract should be structured into the following sections: introduction, objectives, methods, results and conclusions.
- The first Author presenting an accepted paper will be expected to register to the Conference.
- Deadline for abstract submission: June 11, 2007.
- The first named author should be the presenting author.
- Notification regarding acceptance of the abstracts will be emailed to the presenting author by July 2, 2007. Scientific Committee will decide whether a submitted paper will be selected for oral o poster presentation.
To submit an abstract: Abstracts must be submitted only via the Internet, following these instructions.
a) Personal details. Please ensure that full contact details are included as follows:
- Title of the abstract in BLOCK LETTERS, without abbreviations.
- Author's names: should be typed in upper and lower case (Last name, First name Initial: García, J.) and followed by the name and full address of the institution, city and country where the scientific work was undertaken.
- Co-Author's names: should be typed in lower case (last name, first name initial: garcía, j.)
b) The text of the abstract must be prepared in a Microsoft Word file following the next instructions:
- Abstract must be single spaced, typed in Times New Roman using 10 point font size.
- Abstracts must fit on one standard A4 sheet of paper, with the next margins: superior: 8.4cm; inferior: 6.1cm; left: 6.5cm; right: 1cm.
- Only the TEXT of the abstract (without title or authors) must be included in the Word file.
- Simple tables or graphs may be included if they fit into one page along with the abstract text.

c) When submitting your abstract, you will be asked for your e-mail address. Please ensure that the address is correct because you will automatically be sent an acknowledgment, via e-mail to confirm that your abstract has been received. This e-mail will be also requested if you want to correct your abstract.
d) Changes and corrections: If before June 11, you detect a mistake in your abstract, you may change it via Internet. Click EDIT: number of abstract and e-mail address.
e) Abstracts that are not completed properly will not be considered for presentation at the meeting.
Oral Communications Presentation
Only data on a CD-ROM or a USB-Stick will be accepted. The lecture halls (used for the General Scientific Sessions, Symposia, and Abstract Sessions) will each be equipped with the necessary audio-visual equipment.
Authors of abstracts selected for oral communication will have 10 minutes for their presentation (8 minutes followed by a 2 minute discussion period).
Poster Presentation Guidelines
The maximal dimensions of the poster boards are 120 cm high x 90 cm wide.
Presenters will be requested to discuss their posters on day and time assigned day by the organizers.
